Step Up for the Miscarriage Association

Looking to kickstart your fitness journey in 2026? Join our #StepUpforMiscarriage challenge and make every step count.
Every pregnancy loss matters, and this January, we’re challenging you to complete 250,000 steps—one for every pregnancy estimated* to end in miscarriage, molar, or ectopic pregnancy in the UK each year.
Start fundraising! Set up your JustGiving fundraising page here.
Full details on how to join:
- Pledge to complete 250,000 steps throughout January – that’s roughly 8,065 steps a day.
- Set up your JustGiving fundraising page, here, and then click the orange ‘start fundraising’ button.
- Ask friends, family, or colleagues to sponsor your efforts.
- Start your challenge on 1 January!
- Keep us, and your loved ones, updated on social media, by posting updates and tagging @miscarriageassociation and using the hashtag #StepUpForMiscarriage
Every step counts! From walking the dog to running errands, they all add up. And don’t worry if you join late—you can always catch up!
By taking part, you’ll not only boost your own health but also raise awareness of pregnancy loss, share information about the support services we provide, and help fund our vital work supporting those who need us, when they need us most.
Raise £10 and get a free beanie hat or bandana!
This year, active participants will receive either a Miscarriage Association beanie hat or bandana, to boost awareness during your challenge. Once your fundraising page reaches £10 in donations, we’ll email you details on how to claim your beanie or bandana. (Check your spam/junk folder just in case!)
