Our support services

The Miscarriage Association is here to provide support and information to anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy.

If this is happening now, happened recently or happened long ago…

If you are worried about signs or symptoms – or the lack of them…

If you are ‘in limbo’, waiting for another scan or for test results…

If you are concerned for someone else …

If you need extra support and information during the coronavirus pandemic…

… in all these cases, we aim to be of help.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Our support and information services are still very much here for you during these difficult times, and are detailed below.  If you are looking for information about the impact the current pandemic might have on anyone affected by pregnancy loss (including access to early pregnancy and maternity services), you can find it here.

Miscarriage and pregnancy loss support services

This section provides details of our pregnancy loss helpline, live chat service and telephone support volunteers; our email support service; our online support options; our support groups (there are currently no face to face meetings during the coronavirus pandemic, but some groups are meeting via Zoom); and our leaflets.

We have a separate page that provides information about counselling after a miscarriage, as that’s not something we offer ourselves.

Do let us know if there’s anything else you need from us to help you through.

Once I was able to talk to people who really understood, I managed to come to terms with my feelings and work through my grief.
