How to Participate
Charity places
The Miscarriage Association has a very limited number of places left within our charity team, and we are welcoming applications NOW!
Whether you’re a first-time runner or a seasoned pro, the Great North Run is for everyone. It’s a celebration of running, filled with music, buzzing crowds, and a contagious energy, so why not apply to take your place among 60,000 incredible runners on this unforgettable 13.1-mile journey from Newcastle upon Tyne to the stunning South Shields coastline on Sunday 13 September 2026?
As part of our Great North Run team, you will be supported with access to fundraising resources, a free running vest or T shirt, training and fundraising advice, and a team WhatsApp group. If you are selected, you will have to pay a none refundable £25 registration fee, and, in addition, commit to raising a minimum of £375 to help support the work of the M.A.
As one of our flagship events, we’ll be there on the day to cheer you on at the roadside and in the Charity Village post-race.
