The Great North Run is for everyone! It’s an amazing celebration of running, filled with music, buzzing crowds, and a contagious energy that’ll keep your legs moving and your spirits high.

The Miscarriage Association has a limited number of charity places in some of the UK’s most iconic events. By securing a spot, you can make a real difference, fundraising for us and helping us provide vital support to those who need it, when they need it most.
Below, you’ll find details of the events we’re currently accepting applications for, along with relevant application forms. Please note that each event will have a minimum sponsorship target, which is detailed on each event page.

Why not join us at the wonderful Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, just 6 miles from central Birmingham, for their half marathon as part of the Birmingham Running Festival in February 2026.

Take part in one of the UK’s most established road races – the Bath Half Marathon! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a total novice – this event is perfect for everyone.

The Reading Half Marathon not only takes in the highlights of the centre of Reading where you will experience huge crowd support but also still passes through the beautiful grounds of the University campus.

Would you like to participate in the Half Marathon around Roundhay Park in Leeds, one of the biggest city parks in Europe, on Sunday 5th April 2026? This event is part of Leeds Running Festival.

This popular half marathon race is a firm favourite on the Welsh running calendar, boasting one of the flattest half marathon courses in Europe, and is part of the Newport Running Festival.

The fast, flat route of the Hackney Half Marathon makes it ideal for both Personal Best hunters and first-time half marathoners who want to take on a vibrant race with supreme spectator support.

The 10K falls on the Saturday of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival weekend and is run in the stunning surroundings of Holyrood Park.
