Paws for Pregnancy Loss: Walk 100km this March

Paws for Pregnancy Loss is back for 2026 – and it’s bigger, better, and more paw-some than ever.

This March, we’re asking you to take on a 100km walking challenge, alongside your furry companion or on your own, and help raise vital funds for people affected by the heartbreak of pregnancy loss.

Why we walk

Pregnancy loss affects so many lives, and often it’s our furry companions who stay close through the hardest moments. They don’t ask questions or need explanations. They simply show up, offering comfort, routine, and unconditional love when words are hard to find.

We know how powerful that quiet support can be. Paws for Pregnancy Loss is a way to honour the role pets play in our lives, and the comfort they bring during times of loss.

By taking on this challenge and supporting the Miscarriage Association, you’re helping ensure no one has to face pregnancy loss alone – and showing how even the smallest steps, taken together, can make a real difference.

🐾 Open to every paw (and person)

Paws for Pregnancy Loss is open to everyone – with or without a canine companion.

FAQ’s

Q: Do I need a dog to participate?
A: Not at all. You can take part with or without a dog. Walk solo, with friends or family, or with any furry companion if you have one – everyone is welcome to join the pack.

Q: How do I log my distance?
A: Your human can track your distance manually or use a fitness app (like Strava or MapMyWalk) to track your walks and update your progress on your fundraising page. Your fundraising pack also includes a Paws For Pregnancy Loss distance tracker!

Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: Once your JustGiving page reaches £10, we’ll send you your fundraising pack. This includes a free branded dog bandana, fundraising hints and tips, a pawgress tracker chart, and personal support from our fundraising team.

Q: Can I walk with my dog anywhere?
A: Absolutely! Whether you prefer your local park, dog field, or mountain trail, you can walk wherever you like. The most important thing is getting out there and supporting the cause.

Q: Can I join even if I’m not based in the UK?
A: Yes! This is a virtual event, so participants from anywhere in the world can get together for this special 100km adventure. We’ll also be launching a virtual map soon, so you’ll be able to see paws taking part across the country and beyond.
