Still so small

A poem by Charlotte whose baby girl was found to have no heartbeat at 19 weeks and was finally delivered at 19 weeks and 3 days.

Minutes pass like hours, hours like days and days like years waiting

for you to leave me.

Still so small, yet you were already a part of our life’s.

We’d made plans  you’d be part of and talked of how you’d grow, so

this pain we are feeling is struggling to go.

A place in our hearts there will always be but we know, this time, you

could not stay with me.

As things become clearer we accept that you’ve gone so fly off to

heaven as now things move on.
