Sarah James

Sometimes life can feel very small. You might feel caught in patterns of thinking or living that no longer fit, or something may have happened that’s changed the way you see everything.

If this sounds familiar, I can help. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about what’s happened, explore how it’s affected you, and begin to find a way forward.

I came to this work because I believe no one has to stay stuck. Opening up can feel daunting, but it can bring relief, connection, and the hope of change.

I’m trained in psychodynamic, relational and trauma-informed therapy, which explores how past experiences shape the way we think, feel, and respond, often without us even realising it.

I work with individuals on issues including:

Pregnancy issues including baby loss, ectopic pregnancies, terminations, and terminations for medical reasons
Birth and perinatal trauma
Sexual assault
Addiction
Domestic abuse
LGBT+ issues

I’m a qualified, BACP registered therapist, offering weekly sessions online in the UK or in-person in Brighton.

You’re welcome to book a free 20-minute call to see if I’m the right fit for you: sarahjamestherapy.co.uk
