Louise Russell

Hi, I am Louise and I am an integrative therapist working for a fertility clinic and I also manage bereavement services in a large NHS hospital.
I have undertaken extensive post graduate training in perinatal psychotherapy, fertility and loss, and I am passionate about enabling all parents to feel heard, also welcoming dads, single mums and LGBTQIA+.
I care deeply about the ‘silent’ grief of infertility, miscarriage, termination for medical reasons and baby loss/sudden death, and will create with you a compassionate space to explore and invite your feelings to find ways that work for you to manage overwhelm in daily life and beyond.
I have also taken trauma training to enable somatic sensitivity in my work so that you feel safe to connect with your needs in navigating this difficult time, and find ways to help you find a sense of calm outside and beyond of our sessions.
I work both with short term models or open ended if that suits you better.
