The loss of a baby or a much-wanted pregnancy can be both physically and emotionally painful. While the physical pain may heal, emotional scars can remain for much longer, often leaving people feeling isolated and alone. Whether your loss is recent or many years past, I can work with you to explore these feelings and support you in grieving in a way that feels right for you.
I am a BACP-registered counsellor with over 20 years’ experience, alongside 30 years of working with children and families. I specialise in supporting people affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, stillbirth and neonatal death, as well as offering counselling around fertility, pregnancy after loss, and for children who are donor conceived.
I also run the Nottingham Miscarriage Support Group, which I established over 15 years ago after my own experiences of miscarriage and the lack of local support. This has become a deeply important area of my work, and one that continues to shape my commitment to counselling men and women affected by baby loss and infertility
