Louise Magee

I am a psychotherapist with a historic clinical background in fertility. This allows me to understand the challenges faced by individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatments and experiencing pregnancy loss. My own lived experience of miscarriage fuels my passion for providing therapeutic support.
I have specific therapeutic training to support clients navigating early pregnancy loss and any subsequent sex and relationship difficulties. I am also trained in EMDR trauma therapy, which is clinically proven to help with PTSD and complex PTSD.
In my practice, I adopt a relational and holistic approach, ensuring that I meet clients where they are in their unique emotional journeys. I provide compassionate support to help them navigate and process their loss, enabling them to live in the present and recover in a healthy manner. This may involve grief processing rituals and ceremonies that honour the individual nature of their experiences. I am committed to witnessing and supporting each client’s journey through their grief, acknowledging the distinctiveness of their loss and the path to healing.
I am keen to use trauma reduction and in-person group support for early pregnancy loss. My experience includes facilitating a support and I am hoping to bring similar opportunities to Brighton.
