Dee Armstrong
I am a trained and experienced counsellor with a special interest in infertility, miscarriage and involuntary childlessness. I have postgraduate training in fertility and have also completed the British Infertility Counselling Association foundation training.
With a background in the NHS, I was one of the founding directors of The Natural Fertility Centre in Edinburgh and for many years helped hundreds of couples to become pregnant, either naturally or via assisted conception. For many years I ran the Fertility Network’s Edinburgh Support Group. I now work solely as a therapist and have a general counselling private practice in Edinburgh City Centre, alongside my longstanding special interest in miscarriage and fertility related issues.
I have 20 years fertility/miscarriage related experience and am experienced in both short and long term counselling work. I have a warm and direct approach and aim to help you come to terms with the loss you have experienced and support you through the subsequent period of trying again and coping with pregnancy after miscarriage.
