Here for you this festive season

20th December 2019

We know that facing the festive season can sometimes be a struggle for those who have been through pregnancy loss. At a time when children are often at the forefront of everyone’s minds, many of you will be thinking about your lost babies and what might have been.

One special way to remember your babies at this (and any other) time of the year is by adding a star with a personal message, or simply a name and date, on our Stars of Remembrance page.  We will add your star on the same or next working day.

If you’re finding this a difficult time and you’d like to talk to someone who understands, you are very welcome to call our helpline or contact us on Live Chat during office hours:

Normal hours:  Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Holiday closures:  24, 25 and 26 December and 1 January.

Even when we are closed:

  • You can still post and read messages on our support forum. If you’re not already a member, join by 3 p.m. on 23 December to be able to access the forum over Christmas.
  • You can use our private Facebook groups  – one is general and one is for people who are pregnant after loss – at any time to share your thoughts and feelings with others.
  • You might find it helpful to read some of the stories and thoughts that others have shared.  Sometimes just knowing you’re not alone can really help you through.

Here’s hoping you have a gentle and peaceful festive season and a happy 2020.

From all of us at the Miscarriage Association.
