Miscarriage Association welcomes author and broadcaster, Elizabeth Day as new Ambassador

1st October 2025

We are thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Day is joining the Miscarriage Association as an official Ambassador.

A bestselling author, broadcaster, and creator of the podcast How to Fail, Elizabeth has spoken publicly about her personal journey with miscarriage, IVF, and infertility, including the difficult decision to stop trying for children. Her courage and openness in discussing pregnancy loss have resonated deeply with many who feel their grief has been overlooked or silenced.

Elizabeth Day said:

“Experiencing recurrent loss means learning to carry grief even when society expects you to carry on. I know what it’s like to feel the pressure of trying, the hope, the sadness when things don’t go to plan, and the hard decision to let go. If by sharing my story I can help others feel less alone, I’m honoured to do so alongside the Miscarriage Association.”

Vicki Robinson, Chief Executive of the Miscarriage Association, said:

“We are truly proud to welcome Elizabeth as the charity’s newest Ambassador. Her experiences bring authenticity to the conversation around pregnancy loss and infertility, and her story will help us reach more people who have made the difficult decision to stop trying after recurrent loss.”

Through her work, Elizabeth will help amplify awareness, challenge stigma, and champion support for everyone affected by pregnancy loss. As we continue to drive forward policy change, improved care, and better recognition for miscarriage, her voice will be vital in helping ensure no one feels they have to face loss in silence.
