reflections on pregnancy loss

'Secret Child'

Amy Chidley is a musician who has suffered multiple miscarriages.  Her song SECRET CHILD is now available on CD to help others who have been through pregnancy loss.

Amy says, “For years I have been passionate about using music as a means for healing others. Writing the song Secret Child about our first baby was part of my own healing journey. Those with whom I have shared my song were touched, so I decided to record it to make it more widely available. I hope that it helps others who have experienced similar loss and encourages them to find their own creative ways to express personal experiences and find healing.

I also long that miscarriage awareness would improve and that miscarriage would no longer be a taboo subject. The pain involved could be eased if we all knew the facts and knew where to turn for personal comfort or how to support our friends.

My ultimate prayer is for us and all those who long for a baby to know the fulfilment of this hope.

I found the Miscarriage Association to be a course of comfort and information when I most needed it and wish to help them continue their good work. So, a portion of the price of my CD will be donated to The Miscarriage Association.”
