Make a difference to NHS research
– become a public member of our prioritisation panels
The Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme is part of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). It produces independent research information about the effectiveness, costs and broader impact of healthcare treatments and tests for those who plan, provide or receive care in the NHS.
The HTA programme is now recruiting public members to its prioritisation panels. Our panels assess topics that may form the basis of research.
We are recruiting for vacancies on several panels which would suit people who have some committee experience. If you are interested in health research and would like to add a public perspective to our prioritisation decisions, this is a good opportunity to get involved.
You can read a role description and persona specification at http://www.hta.ac.uk/public/HTAAdvisoryPanelsRole.pdf
