The Miscarriage Association has always relied heavily on the contribution of volunteers, with a range of skills, experience and interests. Perhaps you are able to help us provide our services?

If you would like to find out about volunteering opportunities with The M.A., why not come to one of our Introductory Days? These informative and enjoyable days offer information about a range of volunteer roles as well as background information on The Miscarriage Association. Attendance is free of charge.

We’re particularly keen to recruit support volunteers in Beds, Bucks, Greater Manchester, Northants, Sussex and Warwickshire; and across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are also seeking support volunteers with personal experience of ectopic pregnancy.

Volunteer Introductory Days in 2009 are:

Saturday
14th March
Sunday
13th September

Both days are held in London, in a comfortable venue that’s easy to get to.

If you are unable to make it to one of these days, we can send you one of our distance learning packs. The packs are a compilation of all the exercises that we cover in the introductory day and you can complete them at home and at your own pace.

The Miscarriage Association aims to be an equal opportunities organisation. We welcome male and female volunteers from all backgrounds and are particularly keen to recruit Black and Asian volunteers and those who speak languages other than English.
