If you are someone who has experienced pregnancy loss, you'll know how hard it can be to get people to talk about miscarriage. So you can probably imagine that it’s hard for The Miscarriage Association to attract grants and donations for our services. This is why we are asking you to help us to provide support and information for others who lose a baby in pregnancy.
The Miscarriage Association needs to raise a minimum of £200,000 per year just to maintain services at their current levels. Your support can make a real difference to our ability to provide a quality service.
Here are some ideas:

Raise funds while surfing
The M.A. is registered as one of the charities that benefits from www.everyclick.com - a new search engine that donates half its revenues to charity. If you make this your preferred search engine, you can raise money for The M.A. just by searching the web and it won’t cost you a penny.
Just go to www.everyclick.com/uk/miscarriageassociation whenever you search the web, or make it even easier by making it your home page.
sell items on Ebay
It's easy to donate some or all of the proceeds from your eBay sale to The Miscarriage Association. Just list your items with eBay for Charity - the easiest way to sell verified charity items on eBay.
encourage company giving
Many companies make donations to charities nominated by their employees and with new tax breaks to encourage them to do so, this is time to get your boss giving. Some companies prefer to sponsor something specific - such as the newsletter or one of our leaflets while others are happy to make a donation to general costs. Similarly, if you have connections with decision-makers in a company or charitable trust why not suggest that they make a donation to The Miscarriage Association.
take up the Charity Challenge
Spring into action - or persuade an energetic friend, colleague or family member to do so - by joining one of our 23 charity challenges. Whether it's climbing Kilimanjaro, cycling in the Andes, trekking through the Amazon or abseiling and white-water rafting in Scotland, joining one of our sponsored challenge events is a fantastic way to raise funds for the MA. At least £1,000 will go to the MA for every challenger we recruit. Visit the Charity Challenge website at www.charitychallenge.com
join our London Marathon team
We welcome runners who wish to join our team of sponsored runners in the London Marathon. See here for latest details
organise a fundraising event...
People do all sorts of wild and wonderful things to raise funds, from sponsored leg waxing (men only) to a sponsored pub-crawl on hands and knees! Whatever appeals to you - doing Elvis impressions, organising a cake sale or having a dress-down day at work - as long as it's legal, decent and not unduly risky to yourself or others, see if you can turn it into a fundraiser for The Miscarriage Association.
Whatever event you're doing for The M.A., why not set up a personal on-line sponsorship page at Justgiving.com. It's a quick, easy and secure way of collecting sponsorship and, what's more, Justgiving will automatically reclaim our Gift Aid for us, adding 28% to the value of tax-payers' donations.

Please don't think that your support isn't necessary. Compared with most national charities, The Miscarriage Association is a very small organisation, but it manages to make a major impact on a very limited budget. However you choose to help us will make a difference to someone else who is going through the misery of pregnancy loss.
