The Miscarriage Association - providing support and information

The Miscarriage Association - acknowledging pregnancy loss
help

Two former BBC producers are setting up a new website called problemshare.org, to enable people to share their experiences on the Internet through the medium of film.  They are keen to include the experience of miscarriage – might you be interested?  They write:

"We would like to find women and men who would be happy to talk about their experiences following a miscarriage for a new website being set up, called 'problemshare.org'. It is designed to help people ‘share’ their problems over the internet.

"The website offers users a unique chance to listen to other people’s experiences, on issues/topics of concern to them, through an archive of filmed interviews on the ‘problemshare’ website. The immediacy of listening to people talking through an experience you share with them, can be comfort and support in itself. However, users can also upload their own short films or go onto ‘user’s forums’ and chat with others in similar situations. The site will also be set up so that users can access other sources of help and advice, as offered by charities, the statutory and third sector organisations and support groups.

"The website is being set up by two ex BBC producers, Cathy Elliott and Nicola Gibson, who worked in factual programming at the BBC for 12 years and made many documentaries on sensitive, social and medical topics.
In asking for your help, any contact would be initially informal and just for information and research purposes only."

If you would like to explore the possibility of sharing your experiences on film - our contact details are –
