Job vacancy: Helpline Support Worker
The Miscarriage Association (M.A.) works to ensure that everyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy receives the care, support and information that they need.
We are now seeking an additional full-time Helpline Support Worker to add to our team. We are looking for someone who can provide a sensitive and informed response to calls, emails and online requests for support and information.
Hours: 37.5 hours/week.
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The Miscarriage Association (M.A.) is a national charity that offers support and information to anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy. Working from our office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, we provide a range of support and information services, promote and support good healthcare practice and work to raise public awareness and understanding of pregnancy loss.
We are a small staff team, with three full-time and two part-time staff, in addition to occasional free-lance project workers. The staff team is further supported by the Board of Trustees and a range of volunteers.
The working environment
Our offices are based over two floors in a small terraced house. While we aim to be an equal opportunities employer, our offices are, sadly, not wheelchair accessible and the stairs to our toilet facilities are steep.
